August 21, 2008: Responding to God's will

Dear Fellow Sojourners,

The Crisis Pregnancy Centers operates under the auspices of our Lord.  After two years of prayer, the Board of Directors and I believe God has revealed a new vision to better serve our clients.  The staff and volunteers from the East WPC have merged with the Central WPC corps and now more clients will be able to be comprehensively served at our Speedway location.  Our desire is to have 2-3 volunteers per shift per day to not only serve women who have made appointments but also minister to those who stop in for help without an appointment.  With additional medical staff and volunteers, a client will have the option to consult with a doctor or nurse as well as receive an ultrasound right after her test.  What a blessing for clients to be introduced to their unborn babies as soon as they read their positive pregnancy tests!

The building directly behind Central WPC will become the new medical services center and house the Fountain of Life Prenatal Clinic and the ultrasound program.  A prayer room will also be constructed and prayer warriors are invited to pray daily during our "business" hours!

The administrative staff moved into the building on 22nd Street (former East WPC location).

LRC and Southside WPC continue to minister at their separate locations.

Client Benefits:

  • Consistent and full coverage of lay counselors and ultrasound nurses
  • Comprehensive services under one roof:  pregnancy testing, options counseling, abortion information and education, limited material assistance, on-going counseling and follow-up
  • Availability of on-going support groups:  post abortion, miscarriage, sexual integrity, infant hospice
  • Availability of medical staff to answer questions and educate as well as ultrasound program
  • Prenatal clinic on site
  • Central location by U of A and Pima College, on the bus line
  • Compassionate care from trained staff/volunteers who share the love of Christ in word and deed
  • Availability of mentors to clients and/or their children

As a volunteer or financial/prayer supporter of CPC, I wanted to tell you about these changes and invite you to participate with us in continued ministry.  You are vital to this ministry.  We so appreciate you for your donations of time, prayer and/or financial support to CPC!

Sincerely,

John Tabor
Executive Director
